TADADEL 40 is a medicinal product containing tadalafil, used to correct erectile dysfunction in adult men. The drug belongs to the class of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, abbreviated as PDE-5. TADADEL 40 does not increase sexual desire and does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation.

Interaction of TADADEL 40 with other drugs and alcohol

In addition to nitrates and riociguat, clinically significant interaction is possible with alpha-blockers and antihypertensive drugs due to an additional reduction in blood pressure. Tadalafil levels can be increased by ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin, erythromycin, ritonavir, and other inhibitors of the CYP3A4 enzyme. Rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, and phenobarbital, on the contrary, can weaken the effect of the drug.
