What is VIDALISTA 40?

VIDALISTA 40 is a tadalafil-based medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. It helps to achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse, but it only works in the presence of sexual stimulation. The product does not increase sexual desire and does not eliminate psychological or hormonal causes of erectile dysfunction. Consulting a doctor is required before starting use, as erectile dysfunction is sometimes a sign of cardiovascular or endocrine disease.

The drug belongs to phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, abbreviated as PDE-5. This pharmacological group improves the natural vascular response in the tissues of the penis. Tadalafil is also used for symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, in particular for difficult urination, weak urine stream, and frequent nighttime urges. Interaction of VIDALISTA 40 with other drugs and alcohol

VIDALISTA 40 is incompatible with nitrates and riociguat due to the risk of a critical drop in blood pressure. Alpha-blockers, antihypertensive drugs, and some prostate medications can additionally enhance the hypotensive effect. Tadalafil levels can be increased by certain antifungal, antiviral drugs, and some antibiotics, while certain anticonvulsants and rifampicin can weaken the effect. A small amount of alcohol does not always cause an interaction, but significant consumption increases the risk of dizziness, rapid heart rate, orthostatic hypotension, and worsening of erection.
